Tablet catering and events consultants Ltd was set up in late 2011 to enable Toby to complete the development of a major training project dealing with introducing people to catering and service industries. Along the way he won support roles for two specialist niche caterers, and invested in the ongoing development of the business with income earned via an agency as a fine dining and corporate hospitality chef. Two years later and things are progressing rapidly; the business now has a professional kitchen based in Tooting, south London and my wife Ruth has joined the company to develop the consultancy side.
Introducing Toby Asker-Browne
Toby has a very strong practical catering and customer service background gained from years working in commercial, contract and retail environments. He started his career as a chef and developed his career through developing others to replace him. Since leaving mainstream employment Toby has thrived on the variety of work he is able to complete under the Tablet banner; for example developing and delivering training materials, or cooking for important clients and their guests, to organising and managing part of a summer music festival.
